Taylor just isnt sure who Santa Clause is yet!!!

Yesterday we got Taylor all dressed up to get a picture with Santa. Unitl now she hasnt really ever seen a stranger. She was having no part of Santa. Her little nose scrunched up and the biggest tear drops I have ever seen came out of her little eyes. We managed to take a picture with her I had to hold her on a railing and Santa snuck up behind her. I will post a few of the pics.
On Thursday Elden and Larae had the our family and some friends over for a Christmas party. It was a lot of fun. We had some good food and visited a lot and watched the little kids play. We had a lot of fun, cant wait until Christmas at the lodge.
On Tuesday me, Larae, Jaime, and Dalon went to Showlow to hang out and shop. Dalon was our little "PIMP DADDY". We met Tandy over there, ate some really good mexican food, and had a great day shopping.
Im so happy for my family, and friends, and all of the joy they bring. I love my faimily, my sisters-in-law, and my little nephews and nieces. I am so glad to be able to have the gospel from the church in my life.

Rogers birthday present

On the 3rd of December we headed for south Texas to hunt whitetail. Roger has been begging me to go hunting down there so I arranged it for his birthday and a way we went. It was a lot of fun. Roger killed a nice deer on the 2nd day. Then Dalon called and told me he was going to the Las Vegas to NFR and wanted to know if we would go to. So we packed and left Texas, dropped Taylor off with nanny and Viva Las Vegas here we come. Roger had never been there to the NFR and really wanted to go. It was a lot of fun but I'm glad to be home. Now I just need to get food cooked, and deserts cooked for all of the Christmas parties and friends. All of us are going to Luna to the lodge for Christmas. Can't wait. It should be so much fun.

Hunting Season is Officially Over YAAAAAAA!!!

Now I can catch up on everything that has needed to be done around the house for the last few months. It seemed like hunting season was very long and a lot more work this year. I think between guideing and taking care of Taylor and the work of tending all of the hunters wore me out. It was a fun year though and we all made it.
Taylor is sitting up really good, and just starting to crawl a few little tiny crawls. She gets frustrated when she gets up on her hands and knees and cant go anywhere. But I know it wont be long now. No teeth yet :)
Black Friday came and went, and it was so much fun. At the last minute, Me, Jaime, and Larae, decided to go black Friday shopping in Phoenix, and leave at 2:30 in the morning. (CRAZY GIRLS) We had a lot of fun. We almost didnt make it home with the things we bought. We ran out of room in the Tahoe, and had to strap a T.V. to the hood. From the looks we were getting in Mesa I dont think the people down there had ever seen many rednecks. After a ong day of shopping we got home around 10:00 that night. I think next year we are going to leave a day earlier and get a room, and mabe take a TRAILER. But to sum the day up it was so much fun. Thanks Jaime and Larae for being the best sister-in-laws!
We went to go get a christmas tree after church the other day. Boyd and Jaime, and Kason, Hadley, and Hayes went with us. It was snowing and the mountains were really pretty. It got me in the christmas spirit fast. After looking at a lot of different trees, I think it was so cold Jaime and I were ready to get any tree so we could get back in the pickup and warm up. The men got them cut down and we headed home to watch the Cardnals play and eat taco salad. It was a fun afternoon spent with family.
I am having so much fun decorating the house for Christmas. Taylor loves the christmas tree lights, and the little singing toys. Christams just got funner with a little girl in our house. I am so blessed to have such a beautiful little angel. I love her more than anything in this world.

Hunting season has came and ALMOST PASSED:)

I am begining to wonder if Taylor remembers if she has a mom after hunting season is over.  Thanks to Nani Sally, and some freinds in town for watching her all fall.  If I could figure out how to pack her along in my backpack with me when I guide I would.  This hunting season went by so fast.  All of our hunters seemed to be really happy with their hunts.  We got through another year anyway.  We have 1 more elk hunt this year and off to Kansas we go for rifle whitetail hunting.  I always say “One of these days when we settle down I will get “””””All kind of things done”.  Oh well our family is healthy and life is good.  Somehow in the mix of things I was able to take Taylor out for Halloween.  My little girl looks just like Raggity Ann.  She was so cute.  She just loved her hat.  I couldn’t hardly take it off of her so she could go to sleep that night!2010 pics 122

Hunting, Hunting, and MORE Hunting

I finally ran away from camp today just to shower in my own shower, get internet, and basically just do what I want to do. It has been a long fall with all the hunters, and babies. But we have survived. Our hunters have been really successful getting their elk, or at least shooting at them. In between all of the hunts going on, we managed to take our first family pictures. It was alot of fun taking them with Taylor, and all of the fall colors. I will post some of them.
Taylor is almost 8 months old, and no teeth yet. She is rolling over really good, and not crawling yet just scooting around. She tries to sit up for awhile then she crashes. She is so much fun. She is a good baby except she still wont sleep all night. She is good until about 2:00 a.m. grrrrrrrr. I think I have just got used to no sleep. After this week we will start our mule deer hunts for 3 weeks, and then 1 more elk hunt and we are done. Rogers birthday is comming up so we are going to Texas to hunt whitetail deer in December. I cant wait for that.

Gooseberry Jelly and Lake Powell fishing

Well it has been a busy week. From going to Lake Powell and then making lots of jelly, and canning. I am posting a picture of 2 bass I caught at the same time. I have heard of it happening but I had never caught 2 at a time. Why cant this happen to me at a fishing tournament?
The last few days my mom, and Jaime, have been over at my house putting up food storage. We canned 21 quarts of green beans, 21 quarts of squash, 12 loaves of Zuchini bread, 30 jars of Gooseberry jelly, and dry canned a bunch of other things. I know it had to be done. Now I find myself with one week until hunting season starts. WHERE HAS THIS SUMMER GONE? All I want to do is stay home with Taylor. She is starting to get so many expressions, and laughs, and giggles, she is hard to put down.

Taylor is almost 5 months old.

We have been really busy lately as we get ready for hunting season. We made one last trip to Lake Powell to try to get in on some good striper fishing. We had a good time. We camped with Boyd, Jaime my dad and some of his friends. It was nice and relaxing.

Life in the fast lane

We have been busy getting ready for the big weekend in Luna. It seems like the Luna rodeo is a highlight of our families year. All my nieces and nephews are getting ready to ride sheep and chase chickens. Crystal was really nice to all of us girls, she came over yesterday and fixed all of our hair so we can look good. My hair looks much better. Thank you Crystal. Jamie came over a few days ago and helped me take some cute pics of Taylor, so I just have to post the little feet with mine and Rogers wedding rings on her toes. And I have been busy learning how to tie bows. Larae has got me started on a very bad habit. I cant go into any store that has ribbons and lace and not spend $20. Oh well Taylors worth it:) So here is some pics of Taylors new BIG bows.

More Pictures of Taylors Blessing Day

Taylor is 1 week short of being 4 months old. We are so proud of her. I find myself a lot not getting anything done, just playing with her making her smile, and before I know it my day is over.

Taylors Blessing Day

On July 5th 2009, my dad blessed Taylor. It was a special day because it was my twin brother Boyd, and my sister in-law (Jaime's) aniversary, and my Grandpa Hulsey's Birthday. My dad gave Taylor a special blessing, and then we had a big family dinner. I was glad all my family came to the blessing, and to hang out with all the family afterwords, and eat a yummy dinner.

Almost 9 weeks old

Taylor is almost 9 weeks old and weighs 9 lbs, 1oz. She is growing like a little weed. She is sleeping better now she wakes up once a night. I never knew how much I valued my sleep until now. I just thought waking up 6 or 7 times a night was bad to get up and go to the bathroom all the time while I was pregnant. I was complaining a lot about that, and my sister-in-law Jaime said" Oh just wait until Taylors here! I didnt think it would be bad just waking up feeding her and going back to bed. I guess I didnt think that she could have a belly ache or just want to play for a few hours around 2:00 a.m.. Oh well she is worth every bit of it. Roger and I are really proud of our new little girl.
